Pasta and potatoes recipe


 

  • Peel potatoes, wash them, dry them and cut in even slices of approximately one centimeter.
  • Make an incision in the shape of a cross in the bottom of the tomatoes, scald them for 2 minutes, pass them through cold water, peel and dice them.
  • Place oil in the pressure cooker, add potatoes, sliced onion, minced garlic and chili, the bay leaf and tomatoes. Add pasta, preferably short, cooking for 6 minutes. Salt and mix well. Sauté ingredients for 3 minutes and spray them with broth later.
  • Close pot and pressurize it in high heat; as soon as the valve rings, reduce heat to a minimum and allow cooking for 5 minutes. Remove pot from the heat, allow steam to escape and open. Drain the broth and remove bay leaves.
  • Place pasta and vegetables in a dish. Sprinkle cheese, mix softly and serve immediately.
  • Option: pasta with potatoes can turn into a tasty soup. For that, add 700 ml of broth in the pot and substitute short pasta with 200 gr of noodles.
